What the piece shows
A pyramid wedged between two cols. Six kilometres across is enough: the Jungfraujoch at 3,463 m on one side, the Eigerjoch on the other, and the south-east ridge climbing straight up between them. To the north, the face tips over onto the Guggi glacier; to the south, the Ewigschneefäld snowfield runs off towards the Aletsch. A little over 2,000 m between the bottom of the frame and the summit. This is the piece where vertical exaggeration shows best: at ×2, the ridge turns into a blade.

Gifting
Mönch, in three dimensions, on a plate that fits in your hand. Stand it on a desk, a shelf or a mantelpiece, or hang it on the wall: the mounting kit is supplied. This is what you give a hiker, a trail runner or a climber who already owns all the gear and nothing that tells the story of their outings. And for anyone who has been there, the relief keeps the shape of the ground they covered: Bernese Oberland — Bern / Valais border.
