General terms of sale

What applies when you order

Seller: Nexus Studios, Rue de Morat 7a, 2502 Biel/Bienne (canton of Bern), Switzerland. ALPMAP is a brand of Nexus Studios, founded by Ryan and Nathan Calvani. These terms apply to every order placed via alpmap.ch. Version of 29 August 2026.

1 · The product

An ALPMAP piece is a 3D printed terrain relief, calculated from the geographic area you framed yourself in the configurator. Every piece is made to order and is not held in stock. It is designed and printed in Switzerland, in the canton of Bern. The elevations come from public datasets: accuracy is around 25 to 30 metres on the ground, which rules out detail finer than a building or a path.

2 · Prices

Prices are in Swiss francs, delivery within Switzerland included. They start at 29 CHF (10 cm), 39 CHF (15 cm) and 59 CHF (17 cm) for the catalogue peaks, already framed. An area framed by the customer adds 20 CHF, so 49, 59 and 79 CHF. These are FIXED prices: no surcharge is added depending on the area chosen, whatever the amount of material used. The amount shown in the configurator is the one that applies. Nexus Studios is not subject to VAT: no value added tax is charged or recoverable on these amounts.

3 · Order and payment

Payment is made online by card through Stripe. The « Order this piece » button records your configuration and then takes you to the secure checkout: ALPMAP never sees or stores your card number. The order becomes firm the moment the payment is accepted, and you then receive an order number. If you leave the checkout before paying, your configuration stays on file but nothing is charged: write to us with your number and we will send you a fresh payment link.

4 · Lead time and delivery

The indicative lead time is 5 to 8 working days from confirmation, outside periods of high demand. Pieces are printed and then shipped from Biel/Bienne, canton of Bern. Delivery is offered within Switzerland. For a destination outside Switzerland, write to us: we look at it case by case. Lead times are indicative and a reasonable overrun gives no right to compensation.

5 · Returns and withdrawal

Swiss law provides no general right of withdrawal for online purchases. As every piece is made to measure from the area you chose, it can be neither taken back nor resold: returns for a simple change of mind are therefore not accepted. This in no way limits your rights in the event of a defect.

6 · Defects

Check the piece on arrival. In the event of transport damage or a printing defect, report it within 14 days to contact@alpmap.ch with a photo: we reprint the piece at our cost or refund you. Slight shade variations between filament batches, and the difference between the 3D preview on screen and the real object, do not constitute a defect.

7 · Use of the pieces

The pieces are sold as decorative objects. They are neither a navigation instrument nor an official topographic document, and must not be used as such.

8 · Applicable law

Swiss law. Place of jurisdiction Biel (canton of Bern), subject to the mandatory jurisdictions provided by law.
