What the piece shows
The most regular pyramid in Switzerland, and an easy case to print: four ridges converging, nothing around to blur the shape. Across 10 km you pick up Lake Thun at 558 m — a perfectly flat surface at the foot of the cone — and the cut of the Kander towards Mülenen, 693 m. 1,804 m between the water and the summit. The north ridge, the one the funicular follows, reads in a single line.

Gifting
Niesen, in three dimensions, on a plate that fits in your hand. Stand it on a desk, a shelf or a mantelpiece, or hang it on the wall: the mounting kit is supplied. This is what you give a hiker, a trail runner or a climber who already owns all the gear and nothing that tells the story of their outings. And for anyone who has been there, the relief keeps the shape of the ground they covered: Bernese Oberland (canton of Bern).
