What the piece shows
Across 10 km you hold the Engelberg valley and the whole north face. The Titlis glacier takes the top of the piece, with the rock band cutting across it at around 2,700 m. Below, the shelf of the Trübsee at 1,764 m, then the valley at 1,013 m: 2,225 m of height difference between the village and the summit. To the east, the Jochpass makes the obvious notch towards the Gental. The limestone crest runs west to east, well marked at ×1.6.
