What the piece shows
At 10 km wide, the Weisshorn keeps its tetrahedron shape. You see the east ridge, the normal route, the north-north-west ridge with its Grand Gendarme, the Schaligrat to the south-west. The north-east face drops onto the Bies glacier, the one that regularly sheds blocks onto Randa. To the east, the floor of the Mattertal drops under 1,500 m: more than 3,000 m of height difference over barely five kilometres. The Weisshorn glacier closes off the western side.

Gifting
Weisshorn, in three dimensions, on a plate that fits in your hand. Stand it on a desk, a shelf or a mantelpiece, or hang it on the wall: the mounting kit is supplied. This is what you give a hiker, a trail runner or a climber who already owns all the gear and nothing that tells the story of their outings. And for anyone who has been there, the relief keeps the shape of the ground they covered: Valais — between the Mattertal and the Val d'Anniviers.
